Avery, I’ve heard a lot of people enjoyed Nine, though the common complaint hinged on the lack of actual Italians among the cast. Some tried their best at affecting the accents and some, like Dame Judy Dench said, screw it…and didn’t even try. Two stand-out performances are by Penelope Cruz and Fergie.
Avery, I’d love to hear what you thought of A Serious Man!

Nine was the most sadly under-appreciated movie of the year. Tough call between Coraline and Mr. Fox (even though Disney will win it).
